Your photos are so beautiful. My sister lives in Colorado and I have never been there. I plan on going, but it just isn't in the cards...yet. Thank you so much for sharing.
Oh man those are awesome. OK, First question: How do you get the captions for your pictures to fit where they are supposed to? (see my only caption for Colorado Color Sunday about Where's Waldohans?) Next: How do you get so many pictures to post? I click on the tab in the creat post box that says HTML and move them around. I used blogger on medium setting until it was full or rather wouldn't let me post anymore and then switched over to photobucket. I'll be back to check this out proper like. ♥Pam
Thanks for visiting my blog. I found you more or less randomly, following comments from friend's blogs to friends of friends. And I liked your name too. :)
Pamela: No camera during snowball fight. Besides, my fingers were frozen anyway because the gloves were in the room with the camera.
Laura: Visited your place and read your post. I'm glad the pics gave you a lift. You're Welcome.
Karmyn: Sorry I missed Kevin Bacon. How was scrapbooking?
LifeOrSomething: Glad you enjoyed the pics. What part of Colorado does your sister live?
SpiderGirl: The last photo is my favorite, also. After several weeks of having a "glob," no one has asked why my user name is Swampwitch. It that beaded "wig" on your head purple, green, and gold by any chance? If so, I have one just like it.
Julie: You, C, and Pam all found Waldohans. Did you have to enlarge the photo to find him? I think Professor OSU should give you extra points for finding him. Tell him I said so. :)
Songbird: It was a perfect weekend and I was glad the pictures posted.
Pam: I have so much homework this week. Between you and Julie and HTML, I'll be busy. Good job finding Waldohans.
C: Yup, you Julie, and Pam located the man in the aspens. Good job.
Brian: I'll be over to read later today. I don't like to be rushed when I visit there. Great song by the way.
MJD: Yes, this time of year the colors are spectacular with the gold aspens.
Michelle: There is an Italian restaurant in Telluride that has a lighted stainglass in the celing just like your avatar. Beautiful. I tried to take a picture of it, but the light behind it made it too bright.
To All: I'm never sure if anyone ever comes back to see if there is a reply to your posts. I certainly hope so. Let me know, please. The last post has individual replies, also. Anyone visit there, too?
P.S. For anyone who might still be looking at the pics, the words: Colorado Color Sunday above the first pic provide a link. You can't really tell it's a link because the other words are in color, too. Just FYI.
the other day, I commented to my hubby "I wish we had some birch wood to put in our fireplace, it looks nice-we can just remove it if we ever decide build a real fire inside it when it gets cold"
He said"whats birch wood?"
I had to dig out photos of one of our MANY trips to N.MI and show him.
BarnGoddess: We mostly burn pinyon in our fireplace. Oh-so-nice a smell.
KatieT: Loved reading your text message. How is the computer project coming along?
Melli: Colorado Springs is a pretty area. I especially like Manitou Springs.
C: The yellow ones with the light bark/dark spots are aspens. Most of the the others are evergreens. When the aspens reach their peak, which started yesterday, it is called Color Sunday. Depending on the altitude determines the rate at which they "turn."
Oh those are beautiful beyond words! I feel refereshed just looking at them so I may have to come back a few times today.
Oh and thanks to Pam as she answers your questions, she answers mine. We beginners have to stick together ;) By the way, I'll probably be a beginner forever!
I always come back to see. I'm that addicted. *sigh* Some people use a RSS feed to let them know when it's been updated or a reply has been posted. Not all of that is avaliable on blogger. And I'm learning too. See my posthere? ♥Pam
P.S. I believe, but not 100% certain, that the reason you can't load photo's sometimes is the bandwidth you are using when you load up photos. Each person is alloted so much. If you use Imageshack or Photobucket or Flicker, you will get a certain amount of bandwidth to use everymonth. With blogger I think it's 3 large photos every post and maybe 5 or 6 photos with medium. That's been my experience. Also, your photos should be less than 800x600 pixels and in jpeg format. But I bet you already know that. Whatever I know I am happy, nay delighted to share with all. ♥Pam
I believe that everybody should spend(at the least) six months in Colorado, touching the face of god... nothing, in my experiences, has ever affected me so much as being alive in Colorado...ever...and nothing did so much to make me whole...other than my dog. What a glorious sight to behold every day... there has never been a more beautiful colour than the blue of a Colorado sky....
My sister lives in Littleton. They call it Centenial now, I think. I have never been there, I have only met her twice, and have yet to meet my bil and neice and nephew. I can't wait to go. Are you anywhere near here.
I have a husband, my second one - 6 children, 7 grandchildren (another on the way), and 2 Boxers named Junior and Bubba. I love the colors of the sunrise and the sunset. I have a garden full of tomatoes, onions, and peppers. I call it my Salsa Garden. Family and Friends are important to me. They are my life. I love animals, birds, and flowers. I want to know more about how to use my computer. My VCR still flashes 12:00. I am confused when I have to use 2 remotes to turn on my TV and change channels. My cell phone is held together with duct tape because the thought of learning how to use a new one is disconcerting. Sometimes I embarrass my children.
